A Student's Day

On weekdays Korean / Malaysian student Moon Song Yi / KHH, 16 / 21, is always on the go. "It's a frustrating / boring lifestyle, but I want to go to university, so there's nothing I can do about it," This is her / my typical schedule:

6:50 a.m. Wakes, gets dressed for school and eats some toast / Sleeping and dreaming

7:40 a.m. Walks to school / have another dream

8:10 a.m. Attends a 40-minute English comprehension lesson / switch off the alarm clock and sleep again

8:50 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Classes / 9 a.m. – 4.30 p.m. College

5 p.m. Eats some rice cakes, starts homework / Eats mixed rice, starts watching TV

6 p.m. Private math tutorial / Do assignment

8 p.m. More homework / Do more assignments

8:50 p.m. Leaves home for cram school / Leave desk for TV and SMS

9:20 p.m. Attends English lesson at cram school / Read books and magazines

Midnight Teacher drives her home / Time for sleep – for more than six hours

12:30 a.m. Arrives home, takes a shower, does more homework, has a snack, plays computer games / Falls asleep

2:00 a.m. Time for sleep—for less than five hours / Sleeping and Dreaming
