LEVI'S BACK TO BASICS

By KHH

PETALING JAYA: The Levi’s Copper Roadshow is presenting new Levi’s Copper Jeans from 9 until 12 March and it was located at the centre court area of the Curve, Mutiara Damansara.

Lim Chin Wei, the supervisor of the roadshow said the event was not just about promoting new product of Levi’s, it also showed the history of the brand.

“A copper-riverted work pant was designed by tailor Jacob Davis and made for miners in the past because they need a stronger and more durable working pant.

“So, jeans were created and Levi’s Copper Jeans maintain this concept as its feature,” she said.

“Coarse denim, curved pockets, genuine leather patch, handcrafted button and rivets are vintage details of Levi’s Copper Jeans that show its originality of back to basics,” she added.

Levi’s jeans were first introduced by Levi Strauss Co. since 1873 in San Francisco during the era of California Gold Rush, and today, Levi’s has expanded its business worldwide due to its highly marketable jeans in fashion industry.

Lim said in addition to the roadshow, customers would get an exclusive Levi’s Copper Leather Bracelet complimentary with purchase of RM250 and above, while they would also get free customization of unique stitching, stencils or silkscreens with any purchase of the new Levi’s Copper Jeans.
